This paper aims to automate processes in MATLAB using a script that measures motor speed, issuing PWM commands to characterize the response of a 100:1 DC gearmotor, using code sections to partition scripts into smaller parts, using for loops to repeat blocks of code, using text tags and comments to organize and document matlab scripts, and creating and calling a MATLAB function.
